Illustration Friday: Impossibility
This week's Illustration Friday topic is Impossibility. It would be an impossibility to take down a monster that size with a single arrow, right? If you played the game Metal, Magic and Lore (for which I did many of the illustrations), you could find out. Pick up a copy, all you RPG fanatics. Click for larger views.

Fantastic work! wich software did you use?
ReplyDeleteGreat touch of color of monster and flame.
Thanks, Angels. But no software was used. Just brushes, paints and my two hands. The original painting size measures 30"x40".
ReplyDeletewow, this isn't digital? how long did it take you paint it? its really amazing.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a 3D work! Really really good job. You're very good and talented in that.
ReplyDeleteLove your perfect "Red Riding" also, and all your portfolio.
Congratulations Ryan!

Holy cow! This is just amazing! Your work looks like a photo! Mine looks like...well, NOT a photo! Nicely done. I feel like I could step into this piece...although I think they can do the impossible without any help from me :O
ReplyDeleteFantastic work. I'm stunned by the perfection of detail.
